This year Gettysburg College is focusing on the theme Love Who You Want: Exploring Sexuality,
Gender, and Race from the African-American Perspective as part of
February’s Black History Month celebration.
In addition to the many events that will be taking place on campus,
there is a book display on the main floor of Musselman Library exploring this theme. There are also titles selected by English
Professor McKinley E. Melton representing some of the outstanding works
honoring Black History Month overall.
Special thanks to: Monique L. Mathews ’06, Office of Student
Activities & First-Year Programs, and Librarians Jeremy Garskof and Jessica
Howard for helping with this display.
